The first weekend in August 2015, over 40 Grace Church people attended our first South Haven Camping Ripple event. Our goal was to share the Gospel and the love of Christ with the campers through various activities we had planned for the weekend. Friday night, we provided hot dogs, chips and water for incoming campers. An additional 40 campers participated in this event. On Saturday morning we were able to share with approximately 20 children through crafts and activities. By far, the most successful event was Saturday night when we hosted a corn hole tournament. There were around 100 campers in attendance! All were invited to attend our Sunday morning worship service on the beach and around 15 of them were in attendance. Each night we gathered for a campfire, time of worship through music and prayer/devotion time.
