Dustin grew up in Napoleon, MI where he attended and graduated from High School. He grew up going to church and was saved when he was in 6th grade at a Bible camp that he had attended with a friend. Growing up he loved to play sports, especially basketball, and video games with his friends. He met his wife, Amanda, in High School and they were married in 2015. Since then the Lord has blessed them with one child, their son Calvin.

The Lord really began to grow Dustin in his faith and understanding of the scriptures after he graduated from high school in 2012 when he began to attend Grace Church, where his now wife was already attending. Here, he was connected through friendships in the college ministry and within various community groups and events to grow and see the beauty of the Lord. He has a love for the Lord and for the church and hopes to serve both faithfully and well. He has previously served in MainStreet children’s ministry and he is currently serving as a boys small group leader in Student Ministries.

Dustin has an Associate of Arts degree from Jackson College and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Eastern Michigan University. He is currently enrolled at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is pursuing a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry.

Dustin still loves basketball and video games! He also loves to read, particularly things that are history related and good fantasy novels, his favorites being Tolkien’s works. Not unrelated, he hopes to someday take a trip to New Zealand and visit the Shire with his family.
