Dr. Jim Dolson has been a Pastor at Grace Church since August of 2010. Raised in a Christian home, at the age of 15 Jim became a Believer in Jesus Christ while attending a Billy Graham Crusade at the Pontiac Silverdome. In addition to his ministry at Grace, Jim does corporate recruiting and business development for U.S. Staffing Agency, located in Jackson, Michigan. Previous to joining U.S. Staffing, he spent 8 years as Superintendent at Jackson Christian Schools. Before entering education, Jim spent 25 years in the automotive industry holding various engineering, manufacturing, and management positions. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan (1984) and Master’s (2007) and Doctorate (2013) degrees in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. Additionally, Jim is an adjunct professor for a number of Christian universities around the country, teaching undergraduate business courses, MBA courses, and graduate leadership courses. He is passionate about helping adult learners study the world of business using a biblical worldview. He and his wife, Cathy, have been married for 38 years, have 4 adult children and numerous grandchildren. Jim has been a member of Grace Church since 1988.
