Ministry Director, Christian Life Coach
Carl is the director of the Counseling and Life ministries and is dedicated to serving people by providing Biblical guidance and Christian perspectives with a professional approach.
Carl has many years of experience in both secular and Christian settings ranging from law enforcement and administrative roles to advocating for individuals in need of behavioral and mental health services.
Carl has professional experience and education including a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling as well as a PhD in Theology.

Ben Schlenker
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Ben is committed to helping individuals of all ages, working with children as young as ten years old to elderly individuals in need of assistance. He is dedicated to finding his clients the right person to work with recognizing that establishing trust is vital for honest and open relationship with those he works with.
Ben has years of experience in social work including crisis intervention and evaluation in emergency room settings, group therapeutic work, and social work related to court issued parole, probation, and mental health treatment, among other experience.
Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University and a Master of Social Work degree with a focus on Interpersonal Communication from the University of Michigan. State of Michigan Masters Social Worker License Clinical.

Luanne Shackelford
Christian Guidance for Ladies
Luanne is dedicated to giving help and encouragement to others in whatever capacity or context she can. She is committed to offering this encouragement and mentorship to the women she has the opportunity to speak with and minister to.
Luanne and her husband were missionaries for many years. This allowed her to gain much experience working with individuals in many different contexts. To grow in her ability and knowledge, Luanne has taken classes in biblical counseling through Trinity School of the Bible and Theological Seminary. She has also taken courses made available through Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF).
Luanne is committed to pointing others towards the completed work of Christ revealed in the Bible as the thing that makes a real and lasting difference in how they understand their circumstances, emotions, and actions in their everyday lives.
