EQUIP is our discipleship program and we are offering two eight-week courses this Winter beginning Tues., Jan. 24, from 6-7:15pm and ending on Tues., March 14, 2023:

1) Spiritual Leadership taught by Pastor Jim in Room 119. Class Description: If you search on-line bookstores and websites, you will find plenty of discussion about the topic of leadership theories. Some of these theories are foundationally sound, others are not. Spiritual Leadership is not a theory, but a set of guiding principles lifted from the biblical text. The intent of these principles is to guide Believers in any walk-of-life as they lead others. We will review and discuss themes on the topic of Spiritual Leadership pulled from multiple authors. No materials required.

2) Foundation of Missions co-taught by Pastor Josh and Melissa Smith in SMR. Class Description: The Word of God must define and direct the work of missions. A biblical and theological foundation of missions is critical not only for missionaries, but also for the churches who send and support them. In view of Christ's command to make disciples among all the nations, we need to know who missionaries are, what missionaries do, why the church must send missionaries, and how the church can help them succeed. This foundation will also help us understand our God-given part in seeing the gospel of Christ known, the grace of Christ enjoyed, and the glory of Christ exalted among the nations, particularly among the billions of men, women, and children who have never heard His name. There is no cost for the required text which will provided at the first class.
