Spring EQUIP Discipleship Classes @ Grace

EQUIP is our discipleship program and we are offering three eight-week courses this spring beginning Wed., April 28 from 6-7:30pm and ending on Wed., June 16:

  • In “10 Lies About God” (being taught in The Pointe Cafe and based on a book by Erwin Lutzer) participants will examine “ten misconceptions about God that threaten to cloud our understanding of Him.” To attend, just show up!

  • In “The Story of Hope” (being taught in the Prayer Room) participants (believers or unbelievers) will study and better understand the theme of redemption and hope that runs throughout the Scriptures. To attend, just show up but this class is limited to 12 participants. Accompanying books are available in our Bookstore on Sunday morning or in the class.

  • In “When Helping Hurts and Equipping Allies” (being taught in Room 119 and utilizing the book When Helping Hurts: The Small Group Experience by Steve Corbett & Brian Fikkert) the goal is to equip the church with a ministry framework that restores the poor to fulfilling their God-given calling and to equip volunteers to walk alongside low-income people in our benevolence ministry in supportive relationships in a healthy manner. If you plan to attend this class, please contact Dave @ purdues1@comcast.net.

More detailed info about these classes is available in your Grace Weekly Email or you can call the Church Office.
