About the Civil War Muster - Visitors can witness the roar of battle during two large-scale reenactments, including this year’s featured engagement—the Battle of Tulifinny. This dramatic recreation brings to life the chaos, bravery, and strategy of one of the war’s lesser-known but fiercely contested battles. The experience is intensified by the coordinated firing of artillery, mounted cavalry maneuvers, and disciplined infantry formations that echo the sounds and sights of war from over 160 years ago.

Beyond the battlefield, guests can stroll through Camp Jackson and meet the people who bring history to life—Union and Confederate soldiers drilling in formation, surgeons demonstrating field medicine, and civilians sharing stories of wartime life. On Saturday evening, the All-American Military Ball invites attendees to step into an elegant world of nineteenth-century music and dance, offering a rare glimpse into the social customs of the time.
