XFuge on Mission

WHAT IS XFUGE ON MISSION?

XFuge on Mission is a chance for our Grace Church students to do missions in the city as a church group. The Lead Host will serve as a master teacher every morning for Bible study for all XFuge on Mission participants. Our group will break into small groups for Bible study discussion, led by one of the adult Grace Leaders that will be participate with our students. The FUGE office will work with Pastor Brandon to set up our ministry options in the city.

BIBLE STUDY THEME--UNASHAMED

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek. For in it God’s righteousness is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17 (NIV)

We are called to live with confidence in the face of opposition but most are living in fear and shame, apologizing for their beliefs. The gospel gives us the ability to live with boldness in a world that opposes everything about God. During this week of camp, we will explore four responses to the gospel, which give us confident hope and assurance in Christ.

LOCATION—Southern Seminary in LOUISVILLE, KY

DETAILS—WHEN, WHERE, COST AND DATES

When: Camp Dates: Monday, July11 — Friday, July 15, 2016.  Departure time 8:30 AM on Monday, July 11 -- Return home between 10-11:00 PM on Friday, July 15

Where: Southern Seminary, Louisville, KY

Cost: For 2016 $425.00 per person  

Deposit: $50.00

Deadline: Final balance / all forms MUST be in by Wednesday, June 15

 GREAT NEWS--Cost

Camp cost will be the same this year as last year! $425 per person.

Camp participants are planning to visit the Ark Encounter in Williamston, Kentucky. This is a $40 value included in the registration cost.

Each camp participant will also get the Mega Bag, a $35 value included in the registration cost.

Note: A Mega Bag order forms with t-shirt sizes must be advanced ordered. Please have in before May 15th.

Bake Sale

We are gearing up for a couple of Fundraisers to help our students that will be attending “Xfuge On Mission” Camp this July in Louisville, Kentucky.  We plan on having three bake sales starting with Sunday, April 17th.  The next two bake sales will be on Sunday, May 15th and Sunday, June 12th.  These bake sales will be held after both the 9am and 11am worship services.  All bake sales will be held in the Main Worship Center Foyer and the RainForest Foyer.  The students that are attending camp and their parents will be operating the bake sale stations on the designated Sundays.  We look forward to a wonderful sale with your help!

We are looking for lots of delicious donations (they do not have to be home made, feel free to purchase from a trusted local vendor).  If you are able to help, please contact Jill Vowels (Bake Sale Champion) at jjvowels@comcast.net or phone 517-358-4162 to let her know what you will be bringing.
